Dr. Brian J Schwender

MD, FASGE, FAMS (Gastro)- Gastroenterology Consultant, Tucker Medical

Dr. Brian J. Schwender is an American Gastroenterologist who is Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Dr. Schwender has a particular interest in autoimmune diseases of the bowel including Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Celiac Disease and is the medical advisor to the Singapore Celiac and Gluten Free support group.


Karen Horan

Founder of the first Celiac Disease and Gluten Free Support Group in Singapore

Karen Horan dove into the gluten-free world in 2006 when her young daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease over 15 years ago. In 2012 she founded the first Celiac and Gluten Intolerance Support Group in Singapore, which is still running today, and has directly helped hundreds of people overcome the challenges of managing a gluten-free diet.


Bridget Marr

Registered Dietician at Nutritional Solutions

Bridget is a Singapore-based, UK-registered dietician, and an accredited dietician of Singapore who volunteers as a nutrition advisor at Gluten Free Singapore. Her focus of interest is in the nutritional treatment of gastrointestinal conditions including Coeliac Disease, irritable bowel syndrome / functional gut disorders, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and liver disease.



Dr. Steven Tucker

MD, FACP, FAMS (Oncology)- Founder, Tucker Medical

Dr. Tucker is an oncologist, internist and the founder of Tucker Medical Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based multi-specialty practice that provides both general primary care and sub-specialty medicine.  The practice offers holistic care across Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Family Medicine, Nutrition, and Mental Health services in Singapore and to patients across South East Asia.
