UTR Internal Ranking Tournament

Entry Fee: $75 per player per category
Players must be 16 years old and above to participate

Join us on the Tennis Courts for an exciting series of UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) Ranking Tournaments, where you can compete against fellow players and showcase your skills.

After the tournament concludes, players will have opportunities to climb the ladder rankings through challenges that will take place during the UTR Match Play Series throughout the season.

Tournament Dates and Details (this is a UTR-certified event):

Category 5 TAC Internal Ranking Tournament
• Dates: September 27 – 29, 2024
• Eligibility: UTR 0.1 to 2.4 or ITN 9-8-7
• Registration deadline: Monday, September 23, 2024

Category 4 TAC Internal Ranking Tournament
• Dates: September 27 – 29, 2024
• Eligibility: UTR 2.5 to 3.9 or ITN 6-5
• Registration deadline: Monday, September 23, 2024

Category 3 TAC Internal Ranking Tournament
• Dates: October 18 – 20, 2024
• Eligibility: UTR 4.0 to 7.9 or ITN 4-3
• Registration Deadline: Friday, October 11, 2024

Category 2 TAC Internal Ranking Tournament
• Dates: October 18 – 20, 2024
• Eligibility: UTR 8 to 10 or ITN 2-1
• Registration Deadline: Friday, October 11, 2024

Masters TAC Internal Ranking Tournament
• Dates: December 13 – 15, 2024
• Eligibility: Best of 8 players from Category 2 – 5
• Registration Deadline: Friday, December 6, 2024

Format of Play:

• Categories 2 – 5: Single elimination, best of 3 short sets (4 games per set), with a match tie-break for the third set.
• Masters: Round-robin format, top two players advance to semifinals and finals. Semifinals and finals are best-of-3 short sets.

What is UTR?
UTR is a global rating system that measures tennis skill based on match performance, not age or gender. It uses match results, opponent strength, and victory margins to provide an accurate rating, ranging from 1.0 to 16.5.

Terms and Conditions:
• All matches will be UTR verified
• Max. 32 players per category
• A 48-hour cancellation policy applies
• The format of play may vary based on the number of registrations
