Unleash your creativity and add a splash of personality to your everyday tote bag. Join us for an exciting workshop where you’ll learn the art of tote bag painting. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore their artistic side in a fun and relaxed environment.

Saturday, May 11, 2024 – Waste Upcycling
Session 1: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Session 2: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
This workshop aims to educate children on the bigger picture of food waste in our agri-food supply chain and how we can innovatively reduce waste. Participants will also learn about the types of waste we generate and various waste disposal methods along with their limitations.
Each participant will receive a Werm-Cycle kit containing a container of mealworms, a pack of wheat bran, a magnifying glass and an educational pamphlet. Food waste will also be prepared for students to feed the hungry mealworms. Students will also be given a worksheet to consolidate their learning.
Live insects will be used in this workshop.
