“Real-life Photographer” Ju Shen Lee will take attendees behind the scenes of the extraordinary relationship between mahouts and elephants at Tiger Tops in Chitwan National Park. For over 4,500 years, elephants have been integral to human life. Ju Shen will explore how Tiger Tops revolutionized this ancient bond through jungle-walking safaris and wildlife conservation efforts. Learn about the daily routines, mutual trust, and playful interactions that define the mahout-elephant teamwork, revealing the rarely seen aspects of their long, dedicated days together.

About the Speaker
Ju Shen Lee captures 'Real . Life . Photos' of remarkable people in remote regions. With a background in earth sciences and environmental management, her empathetic eye highlights the synergy of nature, life, and culture. Her photos blend storytelling with geography, showcasing socially responsible, sustainable, and regenerative practices. Through expeditions to Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Nepal, she documents both common and rare aspects of daily life. Her award-winning work, published in photo books, motivates action towards the prosperity of these communities despite climate and geographical challenges.
