Saturday, October 25, 2025: Hooi Kee Hong Kong Style Roasted

Recognized for its authentic Hong Kong–style roasted meats, Hooi Kee is a humble stall in Ang Mo Kio founded by a young chef who honed his craft under seasoned masters in a renowned hotel kitchen. Since then, it has become a favorite for its caramelized char siew and golden crackling roast pork.

Saturday, November 29, 2025: Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee

A third-generation family favorite since 1973, Xin Mei Xiang started as a streetside hawker and now calls Old Airport Road Food Centre home. Michelin-recognized and a People’s Choice hit, their Lor Mee features freshly fried premium Batang fish, tender braised pork, a secret blend of spices, and other ingredients. The Lim Family’s philosophy of constant improvement has perfected every bowl into the iconic dish loved today.
