Menopause is a natural stage in life for all women. Most women will breeze through it while a small group require assistance to cope with the physical and psychological effects of this natural phenomena.
This session will empower you to understand how hormonal changes during the menopause transition can affect the woman’s mood and the physical symptoms that they may experience.
Understanding the issues that can arise during the menopause transition will enable men to support their partners through this challenging phase as well as sustain the relationship for the couple.

About Professor Ang Seng Bin

Dr Ang Seng Bin is a Family Physician, Senior Consultant at Family Medicine Service and Head of Menopause Unit of KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH).

Dr Ang has been active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has several teaching appointments which include Director of Innovations, SingHealth Duke-NUS Family Medicine Academic Clinical Programme (FM ACP), Associate Programme Director of SingHealth Family Medicine (FM) Residency Program, Physician Faculty for the SingHealth Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBGYN) Residency Program, Clinical Associate Professor in O&G, Paediatric as well as FM clerkships for Duke-NUS Medical School. His research interests include osteoporosis, menopause, sexual health, healthcare innovations as well as dermatology.
