Join Kehinde Fadipe, author of the widely-acclaimed novel, In Such Tremendous Heat, as she shares insights gleaned from her personal journey and stories from her unique career transitions from entertainment to education to publishing. In this session, dive into the fascinating world of the creative arts as Kehinde opens up about her experience training in London at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, performing on stage and on TV, moving to Singapore to start a family and embark on a teaching career, and rediscovering her creativity through penning and publishing her debut novel.
About the Author
Kehinde Fadipe is an actress, writer, English and Drama teacher and mother. Her debut novel, In Such Tremendous Heat/The Sun Sets In Singapore, is contemporary fiction about three Nigerian women living in Singapore.Featured in The Today's Show's November 2023 Read With Jenna Book Club selection, she is currently adapting the content for TV with Universal Studios, writing her second novel and raising funding for her first feature film.
