About the Presenter

Johann Krige, CEO and Co-owner of Kanonkop, is the eldest son of the Krige family. He officially joined the family estate in 1990 and has since focused on red wine varieties, positioning Kanonkop as a global benchmark. Under his leadership, the estate has pioneered practices like wine futures, elevated Pinotage internationally, and won the International Winemaker of the Year trophy in London four times.
