Grgich Hills Estate was founded in 1977 on the legacy of esteemed winemaker Miljenko Grgich, the man behind the Chardonnay that bested the French in the historic Judgement of Paris in 1976. The winery has always prided itself on a commitment to crafting wines of the highest quality, reflecting the uniqueness of the Napa Valley terroirs where they are grown.
While Grgich Hills continues to celebrate their rich history and tradition, they are also blazing a trail forward in sustainable, environmentally focused farming. Practitioners of organic and biodynamic farming for decades, Grgich Hills added regenerative methodology to their viticulture practices in 2019 and received certification by the Regenerative Organic Alliance in 2023 – an accreditation held by less than 20 wineries worldwide.

About the Speaker
Maja Jeramaz joined Grgich Hills after graduating from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2015. Following graduation, she joined the Tasting Room Sales team, and after quickly developing a reputation for her in-depth knowledge and engaging tours at the winery, she worked as a Lead Sales Associate. Maja then transitioned into Export, and is now the Export and California Chains Manager, selling Grgich Hills wine around the world. Maja says the best part of working at Grgich Hills is continuing the family legacy into the third generation.
