About the Presenter
Born and raised in Florence, Tuscany, Simone entered the wine world early, bottling wine with his father at six. After earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications from the University of Florence, he moved to London and worked for Harrods. He was then hired by Nicolas Belfrage MW, who became his mentor and launched his wine industry career. Simone managed major UK retail accounts and expanded the business in Asia. In 2014, he moved to Hong Kong, fell in love with the city, and made it his home. He served as Asia Regional Manager for two major Italian wineries before joining Delicato in March 2022, overseeing the Southeast Asia market and supporting other Asian markets.
