Huckleberry Finn, one of American fiction’s most enduring characters, is the protagonist of Mark Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, first introduced in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Known as Huck, he is an uneducated, superstitious boy and the son of the town drunk.
Set in the pre-Civil War era, the novel vividly captures regional dialects and cultural nuances, providing a snapshot of the social and political landscape of the time.
