About the Artist

Elisa is a young talented artist from Indonesia. She explores the concepts of psychoanalysis and urban spiritualism which bring a surreal nuance to her abstract expressionistic paintings.

Despite her young age, she has a mature style resulting from her keen observation of human emotions and their complexities: sadness, despair, anger, disenchantment, despondency, shame, emptiness, peace, pleasure, joy and more.

For Elisa, abstract forms bring out the true essence of colors and emotions. It gives the perception of space. For her, the pigments sprinkled inorganically into disparate shapes lends to unlimited freedom of thought.
