INTERFACE explores how where we live shapes who we are. The show juxtaposes two approaches to our interactions with our communities and environment.

May Oon weaves a story of her own traditional Peranakan heritage by referencing film, textile motifs, poetry, and archival documentation.

In contrast to the historical trajectory of May’s investigations, Yen Phang dives into an abstracted take on the future of how we interact with Singapore’s flora in the built environment.
