This year marks the 249th anniversary of America’s independence. Organized by the American Association of Singapore (AAS), the Club is proud to be the host venue for an unforgettable birthday bash, complete with festive red, white, and blue flair.
Get ready to indulge in iconic American favorites – from smoky BBQ ribs and spicy wings to beef brisket tacos, southern fried chicken, and the ultimate crowd-pleaser: classic apple pie.
And don’t forget to save room for one of the day’s most beloved traditions – the Watermelon Eating Contest. This juicy, messy, laugh-out-loud showdown is perfect for participants and spectators of all ages.
Little ones can look forward to a host of family-friendly activities, including bouncy castles, patriotic crafts, and splash-tastic pool games. The celebration continues with toe-tapping Dixieland tunes from the New Stream Brass Band, a stirring Color Guard ceremony by the US Navy, and a dual national anthem performance by Vy Vallejo, a graduating student from the Singapore American School.
