About the Chef
Affectionately known as "Hatch," Chef Kenjiro Hashida hails from Tsukiji and is revered for his innovative approach to Japanese cuisine. Trained at the esteemed Tsuji Culinary Institute and under his father at Hashida Sushi Tokyo, one of Japan's top sushi restaurants, he blends tradition with creativity in every dish. Celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Will Smith, Penelope Cruz, and Sarah Jessica Parker have dined at Hashida Tokyo. In 2013, Chef Hatch opened Hashida Singapore at Mandarin Gallery, now located on Amoy Street, continuing his legacy of culinary artistry.
