Looking for a place to start? The American Women's Association (AWA) has been a welcoming community in Singapore for over 80 years. With members from diverse nationalities—some new and others who have been part of the community for over 20 years—the AWA ensures everyone feels at home, whether they’re in Singapore short-term or for the long haul.

Their orientation program for new expats leverages the knowledge of experienced members and includes:

• A presentation of essential information for new arrivals
• Q&A session with a panel of resident expats
• A mingling session offering further discussions on life in Singapore

Registrants are encouraged to submit any specific questions in advance so they can be addressed during the session. If a question can’t be answered immediately, the team will connect participants with someone who can assist.
