Christmas is the busiest time in the Club, it is also the most festive and merry. Our theme this year is A Magical Christmas where we re-live the whimsy and enchantment of the season. The Club is decorated in blue, silver and gold, embracing modernity, elegance, and joyous celebrations.
Christmas is communal as it is personal. It is the time of the year where we gather as a community to share a meal, a gift and good cheer. It is also a very personal time where we show love, appreciation, and affirm our affinity with our nearest and dearest. Read about the unique family traditions of Member Christine Agertoft and Club employee Anna Bryant. Their Christmas traditions are shaped by their culture and lifestyle. Their Christmas traditions may be widely different but one thing is for certain – it involves family and love.
The American Club community gathers every year for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event signals the start of the holiday season and this year, it is happening on December 7. The Club’s giant Christmas tree will be lit, followed by Santa’s appearance to delight both kids and adults. It’s an event not to be missed!
The last quarter of the year is filled with occasions and the Club is the right place to be. Thanksgiving features the Club’s signature fire-roasted Turkey and the accompaniments that will make you go yum! Our Hanukkah Brunch, which features traditional and modern Jewish dishes is also something to look out for. The Club is cooking up a New Year’s Eve celebration where everyone will be dressed in 2024’s lucky color – golden yellow! Jazz it up with black and you’re guaranteed to look glamorous!
