Sharon has a strong connection with depicting subjects that hold personal significance, drawing inspiration from her Chinese heritage. She is particularly drawn to vibrant hues and dynamic motion, exemplified by scenes such as the sight of recently plucked flowers being sold under the morning sun at a street corner, or the mesmerizing whirl of a traditional lion dance in Chinatown. These images evoke a festive atmosphere, inviting onlookers to join in the cheerful revelry.

Artist Profile
Hailing from Guangdong Province in China, Sharon Tang pursued her education in oil painting at the esteemed Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Currently based in Singapore, Tang has evolved into a skilled expert in painting conservation and restoration. Notably, Tang has showcased her individual artistic endeavors through solo exhibitions at renowned venues such as iPreciation (2003), Y2 Arts (2010), and Art Agenda S.E.A. (2018 & 2022). Her clientele includes private collectors from across the world, including Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, the USA, Australia, Germany, and beyond.
