Introduction to Coding Workshop

In this complimentary one-hour coding workshop, Pulkit Agarwal, Stanford University Alumnus and founder of kids’ coding school Strive Math, will make your child’s introduction to coding as fun and engaging as possible by teaching them to build something they already love: games!

Schedule:
• 7-9 years old: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• 10-12 years old: 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. / 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
• 13-16 years old: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

In the workshop, students will:
• Be exposed to the world of possibilities in coding: games, artificial intelligence, apps, websites, and robotics
• Be introduced to the fundamentals of programming
• Build their first app or game that they can play and share with friends

Who is this workshop for?
• Kids who have never been exposed to coding
• Kids who have less than three months of experience with coding
• Kids with experience in robotics but want to expand their technical tool kit

What do kids need to bring?
• A working laptop
