With regret, the Club has accepted Mathew Welch’s resignation from the General Committee.

The Club thanks Mathew, who served the Club as Secretary, Chair of Social & Dining and Chair of the Strategic Planning Working Group. His time and efforts over the last 18 months were a value-add to the Club.

The resignation of Mathew creates a vacancy to be filled by the General Committee as per the Constitution.

The Club is reaching out to all Members. Based on past precedents, here are some specific qualifications, or their equivalent, which the successful General Committee applicant should possess to some degree:

- Length of Membership
- Club Governance Experience
- Professional Background
- Relevant Skills, preferably in Finance, Senior Management or Business Management
- Club Committee Experience and Tangible Contribution / Value-add
- Business, Non-profit or Volunteer Work Experience
- Ability to Work with Teams in Partnership with Management
- Representative Voice in Our Community
- Capacity to Fulfill Commitments

Co-opted Associate Members may apply
The Club's governing documents provide a mechanism for the General Committee to co-opt Members or spouses of Members onto the General Committee. The General Committee is seeking Associate Members to serve on the General Committee. Please submit your interest by filling in the Volunteer Interest Form.
