Our Team

Tomas Biernacki, Director of Tennis

Tomas was invited by Peter Burwash International (PBI) to join The Club as the Director of Tennis. Prior to his stint at The Club, Tomas was the Davis Cup and Fed Cup Coach for Denmark and was also responsible for the National teams 12- to 18-year-olds there. It was there that he coached some of the top players in the world – both seniors and juniors. Before that, Tomas was also the Tennis Director (elite section) for Scandinavia’s largest tennis club which had 3200 active playing members each week. Fun fact: this is also the club Tomas first picked up tennis at!

The Swedish citizen’s passion for tennis started long ago when he was merely 5-years-old. His idols in tennis were former World No. 1’s Stefan Edberg, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and Thomas Muster. So enamoured was he with the world of tennis, that he aspired to be as passionate as his childhood idols.

Today, Tomas’ passion and enthusiasm for Tennis clearly shines through during his numerous interactions with Club Members. Besides tennis, Tomas also enjoys travelling, reading, racing sports and hitting the gym for a hard workout. Tomas is proficient in English, Swedish, Polish and German, with basic command of Serbian and Croatian.
