The Club features 2 state-of-the-art, two-tone Squash courts to make your Squash games more enjoyable.

Cosmo League 2010
Each year The Club’s squash fraternity takes part in COSMO, an interclub league, which 6 other Clubs also participate.
This year’s COSMO was hosted by Hollandse Club and ran from August 13 through November 23. After 14 weeks of gruelling play, The American Club came up tops, as the glorious winners.
The Team played well and fought hard, amid challenging battles to clinch this top spot. The final game versus SICC was an exciting showcase of our Teams’ ability and enthusiasm.

Young Beginners Squash Clinic Program and Women’s Learn to Play Program
8 sessions @ 1-hour per week
Young beginners (6- to 8-year-olds and 9- to 12-year-olds) - 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Women beginners – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Member: $200
A minimum of 6 participants required.
Objective of the program:
To provide a safe, enjoyable, and educational platform for young players / adult beginners; introducing them to the fun and excitement of Squash in a controlled and stimulating environment.
Program Structure:
It will follow exercise programming principles such as warm-up's, mobilization, stretching, technical development, application of technique (tactics), knowledge development, speed & agility development, bi-lateral body balance maintenance, and warm down's.
The program also promotes Eye–Implement co-ordination, develop agility, achieving balance, as well as providing overall sports development.
Squash is played at maximum intensity for aerobic and anaerobic fitness. Therefore, it is rated as one of the healthiest sport in a survey conducted by the widely respected and influential US business magazine, Forbes.
Zainal Squash Academy (ZSA) offers best qualified coaches with extensive international experience to conduct the training programs. Playing ability will be monitored, recorded and analyzed. Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of program.

Afternoon and Evening Social Programs
These are for squash enthusiasts who enjoy a game or two while socializing with the rest of the players. This takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m.

Squash Ladder Rules
New Members must have a higher score than an existing Member in order to earn a place on the ladder.
You may challenge up to 3 places above your current position.
You will be moved to a position above the Member that you have beaten.
You must accept a challenge within 10 days from the day the challenge is issued. You will forfeit your position if you do not accept the challenge; the challenger will move to a position above you on the ladder. The match should be played within 15 days from the issue of the challenge. Both players must find time to complete the match on a timely basis.
A challenger who loses a match may re-issue a challenge to the same player after 2 weeks of playing the initial match. The same goes for the challenged player, should he lose the match.
The match is played to the best of 5 games, based on the American scoring system.
Each game is played to 15 points with the usual call for 1 or 3 points at 14 all.
Record the scores of the match on the chit provided. Both players should sign on the chit and hand it to the staff at the Sports Counter.
